Analysis of seismological data recorded at the seabed

22 November 2007, 14.30 pm | Francesco Frugoni - Stephen Monna - Caterina Montuori - Tiziana Sgroi | Conference Room Rome | Headquarters | Young researchers seminars Section Rome 2

In this seminar we will present some of the activities of our UF (RIDGE) regarding the use of seismological data recorded at the seabed. In particular:
  • - Teleseismic tomography of the subduction zone of the Southern Tyrrhenian Sea.
  • - Relocation of seismic events and identification of signals useful for the identification of submerged structures.
  • - Multi-parameter analysis to define the seismic noise sources at the seabed.
