On the occasion of World Water Day, an event established by the United Nations in 1992 which is celebrated every 22 March, the Acquaviva team of Smart Citizens of the Provincial Center for Adult Education (CPIA) La Spezia, led by Prof. Daniela Garau and the researcher of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) Giovanna Lucia Piangiamore, will show NUDGE as a digital environmental education tool designed according to the European good practices of the Digital Education Action Plan. The conceived product applies innovative techniques and gamification in order to draw attention to the fragility of the territory from a hydrogeological point of view and the importance of its correct maintenance, with particular attention to the safe behaviors to be adopted in the event of flood events at support of the Civil Protection.
For the occasion, an online challenge will be launched between classes from all over Italy, a sort of simultaneous video game. The appointment is Wednesday 22 March 2023 from 10 to 11:30.
The event is suitable for students of CPIA and first and second grade secondary schools.
