THENational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) launch the contest "Look Up!", an initiative dedicated to primary school students for the creation of the school calendar 2026.
A fascinating journey to discover the sky, among stars, planets and mysteries of the universe, to inspire the creativity of the little ones through drawing.
Looking at the sky, day and night, fills us with wonder and makes us ask big questions.
The Sun, the Moon, the constellations and even the International Space Station tell us extraordinary stories and invite us to explore infinity.
With this contest, INGV wants to stimulate children's scientific curiosity and imagination, inviting them to represent, with colors and creativity, what they see or imagine when looking up.
Also for this edition, the competition benefits from the collaboration of the NET ScienzaInsieme – Together Science NET project, funded by the European programme HORIZON 2020 with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
