From the 6 10 October will take place in Orosei (NU) il workshop "From Deep Space to Deep Earth: The Experimental Network in Sardinia", funded by the project PNRR-MEET (Monitoring Earth's Evolution and Tectonics) dell 'National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV).
The aim of the conference is connecting different approaches, how's that geophysical, physical and astronomical, that share similar or complementary methodologiesWe will talk about research infrastructure e big projects in these three areas of study, analyzing the role of geophysical disciplines in the context of large multidisciplinary research projects, such as theEinstein Telescope, and covering specific topics such as signal processing and automatic warning systems.
The preliminary program of the workshop includes interventions held by experts from various institutions and universities, including INGV, National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF), Sapienza University of Rome, Federico II University of Naples, University of Bologna e University of Sassari, which will be joined by other international universities. Furthermore, during the final day of the 10 October a is expectedexcursion to the nuragic complex of Romanzesu.
PhD students, post-docs, senior and junior researchers are invited to register for the workshop. Participation is limited to a maximum of 35 Guests. In case the number of applications exceeds 35, participants will be selected based on the motivation letter to be submitted during the application phase.
