Students, researchers, PhD students and professors can submit their application to access the network of laboratories of the ILGE Program aimed at promoting free access to national research infrastructures for scientific and technological progress and innovation.

There's time until 31 January 2025 to participate in the second call document of the ILGE TNA/NOA Program which promotes scientific innovation and barrier-free science by offering free physical or remote access to the main national research infrastructures at the forefront of the study of Earth Sciences.

40 innovative tools that will be accessible have been made available for over 20 laboratories gathered in ILGE network (Integrated Laboratories for Geosciences and Environment), distributed in the four major research institutes in the sector: National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV)National Research Council (CNR)Roma Tre University e National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS).

The Program will allow students, researchers and teachers to receive scientific, financial and logistical support to carry out their experiments, as well as having a vast catalogue of innovative instruments available with technical and scientific staff ready to provide assistance in the use of the instrumentation and to initiate multidisciplinary scientific collaborations on various research topics.

The ILGE network is part of the INGV MEET project (Monitoring Earth's Evolution and Tectonics), supported by the PNRR, Next Generation EU programme of the European Union and by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).

The network of Labs made available by the call document ILGE TNA/NOA allows to integrate different disciplines of Earth Sciences, including analog modelingexperimental volcanologygeophysicstectonicspaleomagnetismgeochemistrymicroscopysedimentology e investigations into the site effects of earthquakes.

The nominations for the call document can be submitted until January 31st through the following link.
