The celebrations for the first quarter of a century of the INGV will stop in Cesena, which, with seminars, exhibits, workshops and round tables, will tell the public about its commitment to the study of Geosciences
The events organised by the continueNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) to celebrate its first 25 years of history.
Starting from Thursday 27 March the celebrations arrive at Cesena with a series of meetings dedicated to students, scientists, the curious and enthusiasts in which INGV researchers will talk about the Institute's experience and skills in the study of Geosciences, as well as the close collaborative relationship with the local and university community.
The event, entitled “INGV tells its story in Cesena”, is co-organized by the Institute and the Municipality of Cesena, with the contribution of the local section of theState Archives Technical Institute “Garibaldi-Da Vinci” (Construction, Environment and Territory) and Cesena Campus of the University Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna.
The review is composed of 5 events that will liven up various corners of the city until March 29th.
“The aim of the series of meetings that we have organized to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of INGV is to share the theoretical results and practical experiences gathered in recent years on the complex phenomena linked to the earth, the sea and the atmosphere”, explains Marco Olivieri, INGV researcher and co-organizer of the event.
Participation is free until all available seats are filled, with the exception of the appointment at the State Archives which is reserved for students of the “Garibaldi-Da Vinci” Technical Institute.
