An event dedicated to dissemination and fun to retrace the 25 years of INGV and become "researchers for a day"
They continue to GenoVa the next 17st May the events organized by theNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) to celebrate i 25 years since the institution of the Institution.
The researchers of the INGV headquarters in Genoa will welcome the public of enthusiasts and curious people at the Natural History Museum “Giacomo Doria” with a Natural hazards laboratory by Title “25 years of discovering planet Earth”, to describe the research and monitoring activities carried out by the Agency in the Geosciences, with particular attention to Liguria.
A great team challenge between games and workshops will lead to the discovery of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis e sea level rise, with the possibility of exploring the world of INGV research with 360° videos through the virtual reality and become “researchers for a day”.
The aim of the initiative is to retrace the twenty-five year history of the Institute and raise awareness among visitors on the importance of knowledge of the area and awareness of risks associated with natural events, promoting good practices and responsible behavior.
The activities scheduled in Genoa are free and open for participants aged 12 and over, by reservation.
