The Capital's appointment is back with the event that, with conferences, workshops, games and experiences, has been bringing the general public closer to the world of science for years
From Tuesday 8 April, All 'Ennio Morricone Music Park Auditorium, the appointment with the returns Rome Science Festival.
The central theme of this twentieth edition of the demonstration will be the Bodies which, through changes and adaptations, are the result of a long biological and cultural evolution which has influenced, in turn, their very perception and the socio-cultural interactions between them.
THENational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) it's this year too scientific partner of the Festival and, with its activities, will accompany the curious and passionate to the discovery of all the meanings of bodies: from human to celestial ones, passing through the mechanical bodies that help and support scientists in the study of our planet.
Among the many events of the event, scheduled until April 13, below are the appointments with the Geosciences of the INGV.
Spice Space
April 9-11 | 9:30 am | Sound Corner Space
by INGV
Spice Space is a board game that introduces players to the fascinating world of celestial bodies in the Solar System and space exploration, highlighting the importance of satellite data and major missions for understanding natural phenomena and addressing environmental challenges.

The Sea That Listens and Tells. Exploring the Planet and the Cosmos Through Ocean Monitoring
April 12 | 12:00 PM | AuditoriumArte
edited by GARR, INAF, INFN and INGV
In the ocean depths, far from the light and noise of the surface, a network of electronic eyes and ears peers into the unknown. Its task? Listening to the sea, monitoring climate change, biodiversity and ecosystems. But as they explore the depths, these marine observatories also pick up signals from space, collecting precious data on the universe. Unique observatories, windows on the cosmos and laboratories to explore the oceans, a bridge between the heart of the sea and the infinity of space.

Bodies in extreme environments
April 12 | 11:00 am | Guest Room
by CNR and INGV
Conducting research is always a challenge, even more so if, in addition to the scientific difficulties, there are also environmental ones, which have an impact on both the technologies used and on the bodies of the researchers themselves. A complex situation, to deal with which adequate instrumental and physical preparation is needed, as scientists who have worked in the abyss, on mountain tops and in Antarctica tell us.
